Intro sounds pretty good. I would suggest more reverb/delay on instruments especially sax. Lead voice needs a little reverb. Also, it seems to me that the stereo field of the instruments (placement of instruments on the stereo image) needs a little tweaking in order to give each instrument its own space. (You achieve this by using volume, pan, and eq). Overall, the arrangement, lyrics, and groove sounds pretty good. Work on taking care of the small little details which will make or break a song. Also, on the mix/master bus it needs some "glue" in order to put everything together or "glue" everything together; however, this glue should be the last thing. Again, I think that there is lots of potential, but it's the small little details that need addressing and improvement. Hope this helps. Sincerely and Respectfully, José René

The Message, the melody ...great. I love country music. It would be perfect if there’s another voice in there like a harmony or second vocal. Also the instrumentals would awesome if you used violin or fiddle instead of sax. But still it’s great song.

Great title and intro and sax solos. Song format is great. Love the lyrics, and the song is well put together. The only constructive criticism I would give is that you shorten the song a bit. Try to keep your songs at 3 minutes or less. If you have to go over 3 minutes, then consider fading your songs so that it give the impression that it continues, but you needed to end it. I had to make sure I do the same thing. Some of my songs were lengthy too. : ) Good luck, and keep writing!

I love this song and the country feel of this song. I am always drawn to artists who can be themselves but still deliver the message of Jesus. The world needs to be exposed to more music with positive content. It is our job to be inspired enough by God to inspire the world to follow him.

I haven’t reviewed Bettys work before so looking forward to it. Wasn’t expecting a saxophonist doing the introduction that’s most unusual and daring followed up by good right percussion and keyboards with a subtle guitar flat picking in the background. Great sentiment and really well thought out lyrics which sometimes in gospel music songs and lyrics can be a bit trite. This however, cannot in any way be classified as trite. Lovely unfussed rhythm allows plenty of room to listen to the great formed lyrics. I shall be looking out for more from you Betty. Artey

Good tune! I love the bluegrass, southern gospel feel you put into it. The saxophone solo was it!!!!! The lyrics are constantly talking to God and that's the bottom-line!!!!!!! Keep singing and recording; I think you could go a long way in the Lord!!!!!! Thanks for sharing!!!!

Betty Overstreet's recording of "Your Love Amazes Me" is something you don't often hear: straightforward two-step dance music for Jesus. As if that weren't different enough, she also adds a tenor sax in the intro and the break. So she has the beginnings of a signature sound. The production and the mix are solid (though I would like to hear that piano more to the front, not hidden the way it is) and the backup band is solid too. Betty's voice is clear and friendly. The singing is nothing fancy, but the performance is sturdy. The songwriting is rudimentary. I get the impression that Betty is just now beginning to write, as this song reminds me of some of my first few efforts. If that is the case, I would be interested in hearing more, to witness how her craft grows over time. In the meantime, there is originality here.

No range or excitement in your voice concerning something that amazes you...for this to work it need more energy...it is the love of God your singing about...dont let the Genre box u in thats the diff between a hit record and a good song and this is judt a good song

I loved listening to this song. I did enjoy the lyrics and the feel of the song. I thought it was getting a little monotonous with the guitar in the first half of the song but the saxophone solo came in and helped break it up. Overall, its a really well done song.

The sound quality of the recording over-all is very crisp and bright and clear, Consider a touch of reverb processing on your vocals, it will add sustain and smooth them out. , but not singing in a tunnel, more natural sound, but, not dry and flat either. I really enjoyed the message in this song. Vocals are smooth and natural, sort of - down to earth as they say, and extremely peaceful. The mix levels let me know who was still in charge of this song. Very easy to sit back and listen to. I mean no offense in any part, I myself take all feedback and use it as a tool toward my next project. I pray you feel the same way.
