Gordon Lightfoot Light Rock?

The vocals are quite nice. Reminds me a bit of Gordon Lightfoot. Some light tuning could make the vocals perfection. Though a really good job done at removing muddy middle frequencies amnd amplifying high end frequencies for clarity, space, and air, there's a lack of low low-end. The bass instrument could be turned up, distorted, and or compressed in mix. Could also simply bring up low-end in EQ in mastering.

Easy listening in simple comprehendable story package....

As always typing while listening. Clear guitar intro, fine recording. The simplicity of the lyrics and the melody sometimes are a strength, but also puts you in a category (except for the Beatles ;-). Just as myself, my own songwriting stays my own and is what it is, with it's limitations. For my taste the song needs some spectacular ending with drums or passionate instruments like electric guitar and strings. It's easy listening indeed, but the song stays on one level, which makes me hungry for a variation or climax. I must say...stuck in the 70s and 80s Lorde is the only modern songwriter/artist I listen to ...and always remember: This is only one review of an amateur with his own tast of music...

I was really impressed and so surprised with this song. I've heard some of your other music but this song seems different. I thought this song had a really good sound and seemed well put together. I really enjoyed it.

Vibes!

I like the originality of your work. Strong message and creativity is a big plus. Good production, I can hear some good vocals to this, good job on the final mix-down. I can tell you have your heart and soul into what you do. Keep on pushing and never give up or get distracted in pursuing the dream of making it. I like the instrumental blend of sounds with some vocals and the production on the track is good. Keep up the great work! Peace!!!

Billy Sterg "I call your number" OK so It's closing time at the kangaroo beer and grill and who's on the phoine looking for a gig well It's Billy Sterg. So you go looking around trying to find the booking person and after around 15-30 minutes of looking you realize there not there. Now it's going to take another 15-30 minutes longer to finish the days work. Oh. The solution to this would have been just call Billy in the daytime to secure the gig.

Billy, thank you for this honey for my soul. You sing with your heart! Eating is quite simple, but you get to every soul. I like your cheap style. Your songs are always relaxing and give a great mood. Your music accompanies you to a world where there is nothing wrong. When I listen to this song, it's like I'm talking to my best friend. Only you and Roberto Carlos can sing like that. Always stay the way you are! Thank you, Billy, my best friend!

This song is remarkably unique, and it carries the energy that mdern music inquires for the fans of both old and new era. As a critique I would focus more on the buildup and the chorus aspects of the song or instrumentation. The chorus is essentially the climax of the entire embodiment of a song and it should almost always inspire the energy that a listener is seeking to relate towards. All in all, great work. This song is remarkably unique, and it carries the energy that mdern music inquires for the fans of both old and new era. Time to move over and give someone else a turn in the spotlight

Helpful

This is a great song, but most certainly has more of a country flavour than a pop flavour and I really think it is time to move it on the charts. I dont understand how this song could dominate the POP charts for almost a year. This is a country or country pop song. Just saying with no offence intended.

Solid Effort

No harm....no foul...very easy going ditty with straight forward lyrics....the song rides easily with gently pleasing vocals and occassional nice harmonies....an almost effortless song that moves along at an easy going pace...if your looking for something out of the box or vastly different this is not that but rather an effort that I would imagine would rest easy with a lot of different tastes.....this is totally acceptable music but would like to see the artist stretch a little more effort...well done

This song is very vulnerable and sensual. It tugged at the heartstrings. This is my type of pop that I can just sit in my room with a pair of headphones on and get inspired myself. Definitely enjoy your sound man. Keep it up.

Good Produced Easy Listening

Helpful

The quality is very much above par of what you'd expect from a typical work of this time. Although the cadences are very traditional and don't differ much within the piece, the species counterpoint works like a design around a foundational vocal melody filled with vibrant, unforgiving timbre. I liked the way that he stuck to the integrity of the piece, being more creative in the way of variations on a theme. There seems to be a double-motif in this piece, one motif is not exploited more than the other so it's hard to tell which was the intended foundation for the melody, but they work in an antecedent-precedent manner that really ties it all together, and the end was really cool when they were both switching off, one low and one high. Finally this great piece is a good produced Easy Listening.

Charming Ballad

Helpful

A typical feature of love ballad are direct messages. Smooth played acoustic guitar carry this composition very well, including the harmonical fender guitar in addition with smooth keyboard sound making the arrangement complete. The lyrics come from the heart and touching the soul. Billy Sterg gentle vocals transport longing and reminiscing hidden behind romantical passion. Wonderful sung chorus make the music rich and brings the listener on the next level. All instruments really stand out like additional bass and drums in the backing. Perfect studio recording where all instruments really there, where they should be on a track of this quality. An impressive arrangement influenced by Pop- and Country-Music in perfect orchestration. Listen with open heart and I´m sure, you will like to add it. Let others know your recommendation.
