About Bisdre Santos

Brazilian musician who started studying the guitar at age 15, with self-taught methods. Later, he had classes with internationally renowned musicians to perfect his skills. In 2002, he formed the group 33 palitos, which accompanied several musicians, including Beth Carvalho and Carlos Poyares. Bisdré Santos also worked as a music teacher for the Project Guri of the State of São Paulo's Culture Secretariat and collaborated with the research project "Garoto - Sign of the Times" in partnership with researchers Jorge de Mello and Eduardo Sardinha. In 2003, he founded the "3 por Acaso" trio, which performs Brazilian popular music and presents new works by lesser-known composers. Santos has also appeared on television programs, accompanying various artists, and played with the group "Engole o choro!" in concerts that teach the history of Brazilian choro music to students from São Paulo's suburbs.
