Three weeks ago we made a journey to Denver for additional consultation with Drs and more tests at Anschutz Medical Center. The information we received there was not as positive as we hoped for. The treatment Rene has been receiving has not had the anticipated affect controlling the cancer. She was scheduled for surgery on December 16. That will not happen. Today she is back for a new regimen of chemo. There will be two sessions and then a review of the cancer and a decision what direction her treatment will proceed in after that.
