Blackened is a Thrash/Death Metal band formed in Cochabamba, Bolivia. it began its journey as solely a thrash band, which later took the essence of Death Metal. It was founded in 2006 by Patrick Catalizador (guitars) , Maykol Gonzales (Bass) and Christian Quiroz (Drums), and to complete the project, Danny Santos joined to play guitar, but was later replaced by Enrique Aranibar, who is presently the guitar player.
Patrick then left the country, dismembering Blackened, which began the search for a new guitarist. Mario Abel Arnez (Marvel) completed the official line-up. The band currently has their first official digital material, made up of 4 songs with German Duran (Full-sound Studios) and will soon record what will be its first album.
