I like to hear the raw style of my down south folks... BME does not let us down on this track, the real raw Louisiana sound is on display out here, with the swagger and sour sweet perspective that make up a great musical gumbo. If I was to drop one piece of constructive critique, its that the engineering of this song has really undermined the beat, with the vocals (which are really well mixed with ad-libs and overdubs) just come across above everything else and the song loses its grove. Call me old fashioned or whatever but I am from where its all about the bass!!
