is a German artist author/composer/singer.

She sings Blues, Gospel, Soul and Jazz and was also involved in classical music having taken cello lessons from age 10 -19.
She played in her school orchestra and from 1986 – 1988 also in the Basler Jugendsymphonieorchester (Basel Youth Symphonic Orchestra, Switzerland).
At age 6 she started to take guitar lessons and started singing. Apart from the piano the guitar is still her preferred instrument when composing her songs.
She has been writing her songs own songs for 25 years and gained a lot of experience in numerous church choirs, but most of all in the choir Milan Gospel Singers, Italy.
From age 15 on she has been singing as a soloist, performing with her own songs and music and started in her church’s youth band ″Line In″ from 1986 – 1989.
Her stays in Milan in 1994/95 and from 1999 – 2001 brought her to the Milan Gospel Singers where she was also able to perform with one of her own compositions as well as a soloist.
The reason she did not become well-known mainly lies in the fact that she has always insisted on playing her own music and interpretations without anybody interfering in her personal style.
What is more important to her than money or fame is to send a message. A message about equality, anti-discrimination and to raise an awareness in the Western World for the many people and children who need our help and support – on a long-term basis.
This is the reason she has been involved with the children’s organization Kindernothilfe, an organization that her parents already supported when she was only 4 years old.
The seed for her love and compassion for others does not only lie in herself, but is strongly based on her upbringing and her family, as well as her faith. She has been a member of the Baptist Church since childhood. Her aim is to bring about change through actions, not words.
Her dream is to launch a project in Uganda for children in need. She has special strong ties with her own ″black family″ in Kampala, (expired link) first single ″More than words″ is a Bossanova version of her first song she wrote at age 13.
The other musicians in her band are (amongst others):
–Dr. Billy Mussango from Cameroon, arranger and bass guitar.
-Carlos Negrette from Mexico, harmonica.
They are playing for people of all races, which is a special point and goal of Blu Batisia’s  projects.
