(expired link) In 2004, Guitar player Matt Ruiz was playing with his friend Omi, a good drummer, when he was contacted by neighbor Mike Galgano, a guitarist who was looking to form a Punk band.
Mike added his friend, a fellow guitarist Anthony, to the lineup, moving Matt to Bass, and the band, was promptly named Anonymous (after a long lack of creativity.)
The band started off by writing a few songs of their own, but mostly recording Blink-182 covers at Mike's house.
By the summer of '04 Anthony booked a gig at the St. Leo's fair where Anonymous opened for fellow Stamford Band, Ashes to Embers ((expired link), (expired link).) The Band's first gig was a huge success and led to a great show by the amazing Ashes to Embers.
After honing their skills Anonymous held a Haloween concert at Mike's house opened by another Stamford Band, Fall Short. Fall Short's act was perfect, and Anonymous, aside from some technical difficulties, was great as well.
Soon after the show some issues over the band's direction, among other things, arose and ended up costing Mike a place in the group. With Anthony switching to the lead guitar, the group went out in search
