Australia, Central Coast, KSLSCTom Flood is back in the conscious state of blues after his 5 metre knockout fall and 5 broken ribs, lighting a rocket under the acoustic eclecticism of BluesAngels' grizzled gyroscopics, Cec, Blackie & Tezz. Yes, boggled bluesfans, Terry 'Tezz' Carlan is back on the junkyard beat with his collection of tin cans, suitcases, antique lighting fixtures, office cooler bottles and extraneous metal whatchamacallits that he loves to tap, thump & kick, not to mention a sit-in on some below-the-belt bass runs and sultry swing vocals. The inimitable Graham 'Blackie' Black, master of bass lead-guitar riffs, is actually allowing his prized 60s Hofner to leave his grasp so he can play games in Tezz's junkyard. 'Steady' Cec Bucello somehow stays insouciant delivering his Panzer Division rhythm and mellifluous mongrelin breaks upside his tombstone vocals. Are you sure this band is acoustic?
