Mike Kelley
Bassist Blues Band Composer GuitaristMike has played with me (Fred) for many years in one way or another. We met years ago when we both took a jam class at a local college, and have played together for many things, including teaching that jam class later. He played bass with us when that was needed years ago. He is an excellent blues guitar player, and takes many of the solos with us now. He has also written a few of the songs we do. He has become my best friend over the years and although not always with the band, he has always stepped in when we needed him.
Dave Houser
Bassist VocalistDave has played with us for almost a year. He is a talented bass player, and has a style with vocals that has gone over big. Dave has played in many bands over the years, and he is devoted to Blues Battalion now and a loyal member.
Grace Toriello
VocalistGrace has started singing with us only the last few months. She is extremely talented, but still learning the ropes of performing with a band. She was a vocal music major in college, and hoped to make that a career in the future.
Fred Riedel
Blues Band Composer Guitarist VocalistI form the band many years ago with a drummer, a harmonica player, my daughter on vocals, and a bass player. The members have changed regularly over the years, as wind many bands, because of conflicts with musical styles, tastes, and members wanting something different, but I’ve kept it going. I’d be lost with people to help me make the music o love.
Fred Riedel
Composer Guitarist VocalistBeen the leader of this band since it started, write most of the original material, teach a Blues Jam class at a local college, and have played for or with many fantastic musicians, including a symphony orchestra at one time.
Mike Amen
HarmonicistMike, a military man, learned to play harmonica while in the service to help pass the time. He does a fantastic job on blues harp with this band.
Fred Riedel
Guitarist VocalistBeen playing for many years, lead the band, and writes much of the music.
