Song Review
Love acoustic feels because they seem more personal with the audience. Great voice and voice influx from the vocalists. Acoustic or not, production quality is good, at times levels seem a bit shaky, nothing too noticeable. Was waiting for a climax in the song, but nothing grabbed my attention. Wanted to hear the emotion oozing out of the vocalists on another level than he was already giving us. Band play is very well. Overall Great Job. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oXlUAbS4JYk

Can't Trust A Woman
A traditional country song. I like it, although it doesn't offer anything new. I seriously hope this is a demo, because the mix, although clear, goes over the signal quite often and the choice to mix the vocals dominantly on one channel with the guitars in the center does the track no favours. The vocals sound good, a little stock for the genre but in my book they cut the mustard and then some. Nice guitar work too. Although this track is representative of the country genre, I still miss some cliches such as the mellow violin and lap steel guitar. All in all, a good track that put a smile on my face. I wish I had JD on the rocks.

Can't Trust a Woman
Just a good as any country song and could go far depending upon the promotion/management.. Production and all else is good.. This I say although I am not into country music: I do recognize that this song is good and well done.. Good luck; I am sure that your career will be all that you would have it be if you apply the talent that I hear peeking through in this song.
Can't trust a woman
Good voice, lyrical content and musical backing. "Can't trust a woman" sounds like it is a demo and could use better production and the backing of a band, but overall good job. With a little work on the mix, this song would be a great country track. Wishing you much luck and success!

review of you cant trust a woman
I tell you what he's right on the money. You cant trust a damn woman. They drive me to drink too. I shit you not. I'm normally not that into modern country, but this was good sounding song.
Can't Trust A Woman
Quality of the recording is hurting this effort. Sounds like you are peaking on some of the tracks. The song is fine but concentrate on the mix (which is the biggest pain in the butt to get right). Regarding the song, pretty much like a lot of country songs so you have to really tell a unique story to get the attention of the listener. Not sure I really got it. Keep on working it, if it was easy anyone would do it.
blue soul redemption/ you can't trust a woman
I am a singer /songwriter and I think the song has great potential ! I like the way the song moves forward...great vocals , nice punch on the chorus . I can feel the pain in the subjects words ! The strength is in the vocals and lyrics ! while the musicianship was great in its own rights , a good production would make a huge difference ! this would do as a demo ... i was a little disappointed in the last line of the chorus , i wanted a little stronger ending !!! Overall a good catchy song with a relative story - Great job - keep'em coming bro..
Nice
Alright Blue Soul Redemption, this is a veryy nice song you got here. However, like previous comments made, this song is very monotonous. I did find myself straying off and not paying attention to the song at all. However, other than the drab tone and execution, tbh, it still is a really good song, and I think with a little TLC and restoration, this song could really exceed anyone's expectation. I would like to see some changes as far as melodies and harmonies both vocally and musically. Also, sometimes the guitar chords seemed to fall out of sync with the vocals..? All in all, very nice song, but with some tweeking, it could be awesome. =) Good job.

Review on song "Cant trust a woman"
Nice work, nice voice, nice acoustic setup, everything seem nice at-least for encouragement sake. More effort is probably needed in the future so as to avoid stuffs like the fading at some points in the voice, the less reduced sound supposed to be noticed during a verse, to indicate where a verse and a chorus should line in, should it be played only on instrumental basis. Kudos

really miss the percussion, even just a small trap set, voice should be brought up front more, the voice fades at points. Overall good acoustic , voice is a bit pitchey, yeah a b3 could of given a bit more strength, but i know this is an acoustic version. try another version with above. maybe drop the key so you have enough air for some of those longer notes. The acoustic guitar could maybe use some lighter strings, sounds like your not pushy hard enough brother.

Nice country feel about it.Nice Guitar work, out of place in some spots , as blues and country collide.Guitar player needs to listen to Mel Haggard and then create from there. Its a nice song, and has good lyrics, some little pitchyness in the singing, but not serious.A little more work on the lyrics at the start when he orders the drink,ya kinda got stuck squeezin in the ole jack daniels there. It is however a minor issue and can be easily corrected. Its definately one for the Memphis bars, who knows what could happen.G luck on it.

Review of "Can't Trust a Woman" by Magdalene's Revival
Good song overall, very well sung and played. Just thought it sounded a little thin in places, nothing that a bit of drum work wouldn't cure, even some light brush work, hi-hat and kick, would have made a world of difference to the song, it would have given the bass player the freedom to do some intricate rumbling bass lines, that would have taken the song to another level. Can also imagine a Hammond organ in places of the song. Something to ponder perhaps?
