I like the song ! I enjoyed the story very much , so true to life ! I like your voice and arrangement and the child's voice at the end was a nice touch ! A tender song about birth , life and the brokenness that often comes with , but you delivered the message with care and sensitivity! This is definitely the bad side of country music. The lyrics, while of an obviously personal nature, just come across as corny and generic while the music is dull and flat sounding with no life. The only redeeming factor is the short guitar solo which, while not overly impressive, is played well and understated. Sorry but this kind of country gives authentic country artists a bad name.

From what I understand, the song is about the birth of the writer's son?. That's a nice thing to write about, but the song is very below average and pop-country. This doens't stick out in any way to me, nor does the songwriting offer any real character. The production sounds syrupy. That country twang has never ben anything I enjoyed, and this song has a lot of that.

I reviewed another song of yours that was way better than this one. This song is kind of predictable and tame, almost lack lustre, not my favourite genre at all.

weird fx on vocal hurts it vocals need to be upfront more verses go on too long cut a line out maybe some backing vocals in chorus some flat notes in singing better production could elevate this toon
