What's up everyone?
BraedenV here with a quick update.
After the MusicPEI awards event, where I was nominated for a hip hop recording of the year award, I decided to take some time to figure out how to approach the next year.
I have a lot of goals and ideas, plans and dreams, most of which I don't have the budget for.
So I decided I'm going to make an album, but not an album about me.
I'm going to feature a group of local artists that I have met and connected with on a personal level over the last few months.
I want to invite them into the BraedenV fold and present their voices, thoughts, and messages to my platform and create a record that is less focused on me and more focused on the identities and artists that make up the culture around me.
We are all a product of our environment, and without the people inspiring me, I would never have been where I am at now.
So I'm going to leave a link to a preview of my upcoming single -- a three verse collaboration track called Back on Beat -- featuring two verses from some massive influences in my area's hip hop landscape.

This upcoming project will be a stripped down BraedenV sound in some ways, but it will also be bigger and more ambitious than anything I've done.

I hope you will join me on this adventure, as I try on some new looks and bring some new sounds to BraedenV music.
The features included in the record will introduce you to some amazingly talented acts. I can't wait for you to hear what's coming, but it will still be a month or two away.

I hope you are enjoying my newest track, No Limits!

For me, I'm currently rehearsing for an upcoming MusicPEI showcase event where I will be performing live! After that I will begin the writing for my next music project.

I will be printing physical CD's of The BraedenV EP soon, these will contain all of my currently released music.
These CD's will sell for 10-15$ each and all proceeds will directly fund the BraedenV album to be released at the end of the year.
Those who purchase the CD and support the Album funding will receive personalized shout-outs during the outro of the record.
Yes, I'll SHOUT YOU OUT PERSONALLY at the end of one of the album.
If you are interested in taking part, be sure to message me back and I will add your name to the list -- once enough names are on the list, I will begin taking pre-orders and mailing addresses. I will personally ship the limited edition CD to you.
This means you can have a limited edition physical copy of the BraedenV EP to keep or give as a gift AND directly contribute to the creation of new BraedenV music.

I also have music videos in the works for the songs 'Good Life' and 'Voices'! These are still some time away, but I'm working hard to make 2021 the best year yet for BraedenV Music both sonically and visually.

Lastly, I will begin doing some live streaming and podcasting in the near future, performing some songs and talking to listeners.

BraedenV music will always remain genuine and honest. My only hope is that you will take this journey with me despite some songs that might challenge what you expect to hear from BraedenV music. My promise to you is that I will only release music that I feel will enrich the lives of those who hear it. Music that represents my life. Music that is for everyone.

I want to thank everyone for supporting me this far. The messages I've received have been inspiring and kept me going when things got tough. And believe me, there were many late nights where I doubted myself and my work.

2021 will be a huge year for everyone, and BraedenV music is going to be here to share the ride with you. We're on our way to the Good Life.
