About braindead

Braindead is a progressive metal band from Istanbul Turkey and was formed in 1989. Their first gig was at Harbiye Open Air Theatre in 1990. They released their demo album named "Jack The Ripper" in the very same year. Until their EP "Darkness Wins All", which was released in 1993 and was a huge success, they played at many gigs in Istanbul Turkey. Their music is mostly influenced by baroque era classical music and lyrics are mainly about myths and legends.
