Song Reviews
You Got Something Here. I like it.
This reminds of of some good late 70s classic rock. The good stuff. Band names escape me at the moment but for me, the track evokes a time when radio played really, really, strong well-written songs with great hooks, and stellar vocal performances. Awesome recording, playing, and songwriting. You labeled this Alt Country but I don't get too much of a country vibe. That is not a good or a bad thing. You could probably push the vibe harder to the country side and come up with something really interesting will bring you closer to the "alt" in Country Alt.The sound you've carved out for yourself is interesting not something I hear at all these days in new music. Again, not a bad thing. There really is nothing to complain about here. You know this rocks -- you just wanted to confirm it! (But I ain't mad at cha!) I would have vamped the out-tro and faded out versus the current ending, but that's a VERY minor complaint. The tune rocks. You're very talented.

Killer song
I loved this song right away. The music is tight and the mix is really great. The lead vocals and harmonics are fantastic! The drums are very well mixed and in the pocket with just the right amount of effects. The lyrics are very good for this song as they fit the music perfectly. It's a strong song overall. Very well produced and written. Very radio friendly song. The guitar work on this piece is magnificently put together. The only thing missing was a killer guitar solo. I would love to hear more! I'm hitting the buy button and nothing is happening!

I kept Waiting, Waiting, Waiting...To Hear Something I Didn't Like--
.. BUT DUDE! You seriously crushed it. Some people try hard to rock, some learn to... but then there's people like you, who were just BORN to rock. This song showcases your raspy, naturally rock & roll voice, and is easy easy easy to listen to. So classic and uncomplicated, the way it unfurls. If this song was an ice cream flavor, it would be (as weird as it sounds...) Bubblegum ice cream. For me, anyway. Know why? Cause bubblegum ice cream is my jam, my fave flavor, my go-to when i'm fixin' for something sweet, unique, and simply fantastic. Great song man, three-thumbs-up-- yep, too much awesome for two thumbs. =P - Rebecca Boux

Nice guitar playing
You have some great guitar playing skills. I'm not real impressed with the lyrics. You leave nothing to the imagination and there is no real seduction with your lyrics, You just put it out there like a little horn dog. That being said, I really like the sound of your song, you have a very sexy and strong voice that will get all the ladies dancing and screaming for you to fill them with your song! If that's the kind of audience your going for, you nailed it!

Stop Waiting
I love a good rock, southern rock song that starts heavy with guitar, drums and then kicks into the vocals. This song does not disappoint. The production sounds pretty good, too. There's something "off" on it, though, not sure what. The harmonies blend well together and the mix makes this sound like a song that should be played on a classic rock station if this were 1985 and we could time travel. Good effort.

Transforming rock
This is a great rock song every day of the week. It's sliding between classic hard rock tunes and softer harmonies and chords. I have listened several times and it never fails. Framed by a professional production!

Waiting - for the top!
Waiting - wow Brandon I'm totally digging this tune! I can hear all types of flavor here - country, rock, alternative! The arrangement is totally flavorful in that regard! Nashville give Brandon Bentley a listen - don't keep him "Waiting!!!"

Good Pop Rock Sound
Yes, this is Rock, but it has a Pop sound as well. Good sound. Very catchy. Really like the way the Artist is choosing to sing the words. Makes a good solid song, more interesting. Really good singing and sound of the band. You Rock. Keep doing good things. More Power to you. Sincerely Edward Westbrook (The Atomic Energy Society)

Pretty cool tune
Definitely well produced. A bit remedial in musicianship though it's obviously meant for mainstream music fans. I was waiting for a guitar solo coming out of the middle 8 or even at the end. Definitely something to think about to give it a little more flavor. He's got a good voice and I'm sure there are some fans out there who would really enjoy this song. It's got a good classic feel to it. These guys definitely don't suck and that's most important.

Rock it
I’m very found of this kind of melodic rock with a steady funky beat. It gets to me. Its a simple rocksong, straight forward with great vocal performance. A tight music production. I hear a lot of good music references within the big rock industry. This could very well be a hit song within the right area of listeners. Some Foofighters, Soundgarden some of all the other good rock/grunge bands from the 90s. Good work!

Interesting Power Pop from Austin, TX!
I've been listening to the selection "Waiting" by Austin's Brandon Bentley, and I like it very much. Bentley sings very well, and the song has a late-70s power-ballad feel to it. I would like to hear more from Bentley, and I would be interested in seeing/hearing him live if he were to come to Atlanta.

Very catchy
Really solid and beefy choppy guitar tone on the verses really grabs me, as a guitar player i love a tone like that. Really nice melody and interesting middle 8 part leading into a Jane's addiction type riff to foot stomp too. Probably would have added a little solo or something there but that's just me! Good professional sounding production values this is an AOR style hit in the making!

A new dimension of waiting...
Overwhelming sound pressure on my headphones! Great production with a well balanced mix. This is a highly recommended song for an alternative rock airplay station and all the lovers of good rock music which suits all demands for that kind of music. The voice and all instruments are very convincing as well as the production. No lack in this track! Worth to listen over and over again! Highly recommended for those who are in rock music!

Cool Classic Southern Rock Style Tune
This song reminds me a bit of the band Nickelback, but more natural, without all the excessive processing on the vocals. Brandon has a great voice, good tone and pitch. The song is catchy and the production is good. His name has a good ring to it and I would consider just using 'Bentley' as a band name. It has a classy and mysterious ring to it! Quite marketable!

I Liked it
Yes, I liked it, but I would've Loved it better with a killer lead at the bridge/chorus. You left me hanging waiting for the ride with one, but you drop'd me on the side of the road, man...For that I must take a point off, my Texas brother. The song kicks butt on 'all' cylinders till the bridge. Maybe it was written like that, I don't know...but if you could maybe do it with a killer lead instead of slowing it down and send it back to me for another review...I will gladly give you that (5) that this song deserves, cause I really 'do' like it, man. Good Luck on your Music adventure here at N1Music, my friend. ~ Gizzmow, Bonham, Texas

wow Really good! yes. You going to need to get management and a budget to land a record deal. Universal Music Group which we are part of are only working with artists that have they own budgets (which we match) and so is Sony and Warner. It sucks but that is the new deal. Its ag great recording man I am at tmasonmi5 @ aol if you want more advice.Ted Mason Modern English Mi5 Recordings Universal Music Group.
