The Breeze Kings formed in 1997 when a local club needed a weeknight house band. Four up-and-coming players who barely knew each other came together with a mutual love for 50’s era Chicago blues. The spark was there and word spread fast. Today, the band performs over 200 shows per year all over the eastern USA, and in 2012 completed their fourth multi-date tour of France. Featuring complex guitar parts, explosive harmonica, and rock steady rhythms, their exciting and authentic blend of Chicago, Delta, and other regional blues styles has caught the attention of people everywhere. Their energy has won over new fans while their unwavering dedication to time honored traditions has earned the respect and admiration of blues purists.
