Hello Everyone! I Love You Still is a song that took me many years to write. Not because it is making some kind of earth shattering statement. Nothing epic about this song. So why did it take years to write? The song started life as something I wanted to share with a special person in my life. The person I expected to spend my life with. The person who was my best friend. How could it be any better than that? Life and love threw me a curve ball. I swung and I missed. She married someone else. So the song sat. For many years. Started but never finished. Eventually I began tinkering with the song again and as simple as it is, I discovered I still loved playing it on my piano. Though the lyric was only partially done I decided I would record the complete music track. First time I did a rehearsal with the full band tracks the final verse came to me. Attached is I Love You Still with only my scratch vocals and no BG vocals. The song has been covered twice by other artists. One day I may release a version myself. Until then I have this...
