Brittnie Price

An Ohio girl with a heart that sounds like a big city, Brittnie Price is a 21 year old star in the making with a story to tell and a sound all her own. After 7 months on the Broadway Tour of HAIR, Brittnie has teamed up with Producer Jim Wirt (known for his work with Jack's Mannequin, Fiona Apple, and more) to release a Debut EP, "Everything We Are," in Nov. 2013. Influenced by everything from John Mayer to Whitney Houston, Lauryn Hill to Bon Iver, her sound has been compared to the likes of Tori Kelly, Sara Bareilles, Alicia Keys, Kelly Clarkson, and more. A truly dynamic and soulful voice carries delicious and catchy melodies and intelligent lyrics along a sea of buoyant background vocals, and it's no secret that music has been a passion of this Musical Theatre major for years.

It remains evident that the question is not if Brittnie Price has a place in the music industry, but rather where. "What is so beautiful and important about 'Everything We Are,' is that it's purely representative of what my truth sounds like right now. Who's to say if I'll sound like this forever, or, for that matter, what I will sound like tomorrow? Although this industry longs to tell me differently, I know I have time to grow. To evolve. To experiment and, most importantly, to explore my capacity to feel as many things as deeply as possible and express them in my words, with my melodies, on my terms and hope someone out there is listening and feeling with me."
