Reminding me of Los Vegas

Hi, Bruce Gombrelli that's some sound you have got there. I almost immediately thought of Bobby Cauldwell. As I listened more intently I also was reminded of Micheal Franks. I'm not sure if you're familiar with either of those Artist but they were pretty successful. Their sounds, though different were somewhat Pop and Urban, Modern and yet a stylish R&B with a Contemporary Touch. I think this tune and your writing skills will go far and this a tune with just a little touch up will go far on the Radio. The vocals are smooth and the subject delivers well...it sounds like it's ready and was a lot of fun putting it together. The timbre, although Synthed work well together and brings the feel of the 80's or 90's. There's a story in the song delivered well. It's impressive that you're from California and chose this genre and sound type. I enjoyed it very much. The Harmonies work well together and were well thought of and worked the song well.

Overpowering effects

A very busy song. The music overpowers the singer's voice so rhe lyrics are not easy to hear. It seems rhat there are too many effects being used too. Certainly a lively track but the ryming in the lyics seens missing in the main. I don't think I'd have this on my car USB though lol

Nice pop

It looks like pop music coming from the 70s and 80s planet. Good structural quality of the song, the voice is good and well balanced, even if the timbre and the sound are not very original. Certain synthesizer sounds, especially the brass, seem really outdated. However, good work overall

Vocals and instruments are awesome

The Vocals and instruments are awesome , There are totally in sync. The background vocals blend in perfectly. This song had me interested within the first two lines and kept me interested all the way threw. I especially like how you do your lead vocal and have it in perfect sync with your background vocals. It's truly an amazing blend and makes your lyrics come together in perfect harmony. Congrats i really enjoyed your song. Keep up the good work.

I I took a listen????

I like it. I need more energy though. The double voice in the background needs to match and line up with your voice. I would say that you have an original unique sound. You can do a lot of festivals with your band in the summer. I wish you all the best in your musix journey

Kitten in the Corner by Bruce Gombrelli

I decided to listen to this song, and review it to make blincoins... I feel that this track was well crafted. It is not the normal genre that I listen to, but the beat and electronica caught my ears. I think, through the lyrics, the artist is expressing the chances we take in love when visiting a bar or club. Two people meet through smiles and glances and only time will tell if they are meant to be forever... Or just meant for the moment.

I was a little taken back when I hit play on this track. Bruce Has, for me, touched a definite nostalgic nerve with his style. The musical flavors are reminiscent of Howard Jones meets Pet Shop Boys with a slight dark touch of Gary Numan - if they had all been writing their hits with modern Electronic Music Technology. The vocal production style reminds me of the Beatles circa Abbey Road. The Harmonies and vocal layering are admirable and the overall mood of the song was enjoyable, plus the use of organ and LFO together in the same track is not something easily pulled off. I will definitely be listening to more of Bruce's tunes and I expect to be surprised.

Ouvindo e escrevendo. Bela música

Bruce, você conhece minha opinião e minha paixão pelo Rock, Pop Rock, enfim, eu gostei muito e você tem uma voz suave e ao mesmo tempo impacta. Legal. Continue produzindo canções assim para eu ouvir. Estou escrevendo e ouvindo. Maravilha! Abraços meus e obrigada por mais essa.

I can’t decide whether I’m hearing more Talking Heads, Howard Jones, or some crazy awesome evolution of the Gap Band. Jazzy, catchy, and very interesting! I find this track irresistible. Looking forward to hearing more!

Hello 80's !

I like very much the atmosphere of 80, this piece reminds me in the Pete Shelley's first electro album and particularly the voice(vote). There is a rather fun operatic(lyric) side but also a kind of outstrips. Bravo!

Great Tune

As usual you keep popping out great stuff.. I like the way the tune is arranged and the smooth movement of the instruments. Keep up the good work. I don't know if you are a complete band or a single artist like me doing all the instruments to get a band sound but what ever you are doing its very good stuff. So carry on ..

WHY KEEP THAT CAT IN THE BACK..LET KITTEN RIDE SHOTGUN!!

Bruce always comes up with some interesting stuff to keep us listening!! This one is a real mashup of sounds. There is, as there often is, a slice of CHICAGO; the sound of the vocals is somewhat similar to Beatles SGT. PEPPERS sound; the fuzz bass sonud which punctuates the music is more similar to some recent entries than a throwback. There is even some touches of AWB and BLOOD SWEAT AND TEARS. Perhaps if I need choose a single Band who reflects this particular sound from "Kitten"..I would likely pick...(drumroll)....Strawberry Alarm Clock...Offer that cat some Incense and Peppermints!! Keep us guessing Bruce. Its fun!!
