Bruce Powell is an accomplished pianist, organist/keyboard player. He is also a music teacher for a private school (K4-12). He is a composer, arranger, producer and director. He has performed in Tokyo, Japan; Stockholm Sweden; Las Vegas, San Francisco, Milwaukee & Chicago; to name but a few places. I would like to say hello and thank you for all your support of my music! I am always touched and inspired by the compliments and comments. You have been asking for more, well, Here it is! The first 3 new pieces are: Rosalie's Dream(release date; 7/23/2020), Lucky's Groove & My Release (release pending)! The new Gospel compositions are still in the works. I am working on the vocal tracks and will have them ready by summers end. or sooner I hope! :-) Anyway, tell your friend to listen in and enjoy the new sounds from Bruce Powell.

It should be ready for release some time this summer. "THERE IS NO OTHER LIKE JESUS" is getting more air play on the radio due to my promotion campaign with The Akademia!! Hello N1M fans and subscribers! I have been quite busy lately, working on my original songs. Just won best Christian/Alternative rock song for April 2015 in the Akademia Music Awards. Working on my promotion campaign for airplay on the radio and global distribution of "THERE IS NO OTHER LIKE JESUS"! I have an album I recorded in the past being reissued; it is due to be released this Summer. The title of the album is "REALITY"! Thanks for all your support!!

Bruce Powell was born February 19, 1946 in Waukegan, Illinois to Daniel &
Rosalie Powell. He started playing bongos with his dad at ‘jam sessions at the tender age of four. At eight years old, his Dad bought a piano into their home and Bruce enrolled in the Zion Conservatory of Music, in Zion, IL. There he studied classical piano for 10 years. He played for his youth choir at the age of 14. Had his first professional debut at 16. He went on to graduate from the conservatory in 1964.
After a stint in the (expired link). Air Force, Bruce traveled the world playing his music. He
played in places such as Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe, San Francisco, Tokyo Japan,
Stockholm Sweden, before returning to play in Milwaukee, WI (where he now resides).
He is currently music director of a church in Milwaukee. He also has his own ministry of playing concerts for elderly and shut-in all over southeastern Wisconsin. He did his graduate work in Jazz theory and piano at the Wisconsin College Conservatory.
He is a composer, arranger, teacher and a singer. Minister Bruce Powell is a servant of the Lord who uses his gift to bring joy to God’s people all over the world.
