The band plays under three names....officially formed in late 2000, but the members of the group were no strangers to each other, having played together in various combinations over the past 35 yr Adriatic Braca ((expired link)) plays a wide variety of WORLD music on acoustic string instruments. The group also plays under the name Buffalo Busted String Band for American Cournty,50's, and Gypsy Swing gigs ((expired link)) and as O'Braca for Irish gigs ((expired link)). The beautiful instruments are from the European Balkan Tamburitza family of instruments. Adriatic Braca officially formed in late 2000, but the members of the group were no strangers to each other, having played together in various combinations over the past 35 years. The group has performed throughout the USA at annual Tamburitizan music extravaganzas, and the North East USA at ethnic festivals, clubs, bars, dances, and weddings. They have something for everyone and just love to play music !
