I'm really liking the rock and blues feel that you have in the song. The horns at the beginning was a very nice touch to the song. The lyrics to the song had a good story line that had me waiting for the next verse along with the guitar throughout the song and the horn for the bridge/ break. This is a good song that I believe would be more marketable with a few adjustments. First of all I must say, I like the lead vocal's delivery. It was good, but would have been enhanced with background harmony in some places. I think the drum line was too busy in some areas and interupted the pocket. One more observation... Using brass instruments was a good idea. Just needs a little polishing up. Please do not abandon this song. I really think you have something. I hope it will develop some wings, and fly.

Well, this is the song, this is your single, you just need a couple of things. Intro is so good, drums are ok but not cymbals, theyre to noisy, and trumpets a little to. Cut the song to 3:30 or 3:50 the max (radio version). A second voice to make the chorus part stronger, and the bridge has to be kind of different stuff from the song. Make a video, start your campaign in Detroit and I hope this song became main hymn of your city. You welcome friends!

Yeah! Great song and especially great arrangement - it's cool to hear a classic-rock song with brass section. This makes a lot of power - there are also nice Riffs, cool rhythms and powerful voice. Well done!

Your music is great and is deep keep it up and you'll be going places you never really thought you would be going and i dont think it will take you anytime at all because the music/product speaks for itself so all you really need to do is stay focused and consistent and all that you strive for will come ten fold in no time but i really dig the tracks so ill appreciate it if you keep me posted for any future songs/videos you put out but all in all keep it up and im liking what im hearing

bugs Beddow & the Good STuFF brings us Detroit Guy. A straightforward rock tune in the vein of so many 70's rock groups from that area. From a listener's perspective it is a no nonsense tune. From a producer's perspective there isn't anything particularly wrong with this song. But there is a lack of life to the stereo image and the vocals could use a little more processing. Other than that it is a valid effort.

...I didn't get to finish this review. The vocals and lyrics are what you'd expect from a song titled "Detroit Guy". The vocalist is in tune mostly but nothing to write home about. The production is fairly well mixed but the tone lacks any special consideration. The final master should have been quantized to give the best sound quality
