Hello from a cold & grey Chicago! I didn't know what to expect uploading some of the music I've written and recorded over the years here, but seeing how supportive and welcoming you all have been, I'm happy to keep the uploads coming, not to mention eager to see & hear your music & recommendations as well! There's kind of a cool back story behind the first song I uploaded - IN VEIN. When I wrote the song, I recorded it as a kind of "extra" during sessions with a band called THE BRETHREN way back in 2003. Long story short, the song never got finished and almost became a throwaway. Eventually, I asked Dan "Tyrantor" Lawson (CUMCHRIST, USURPER) if he'd be interested in recording some vokills to the song, and voila! Although we never officially released the track, I thought it would be cool to give it a whirl here on numberonemusic.com and so far, the response has been great!
