It has been a while since I sat down and sent a note out to all of you, thanking you for following my music and sharing it with your friends. The summer has been hot here in Pennsylvania, to the point of being downright uncomfortable for this Canadian transplant. But the tomatoes are doing well as are the sunflowers. We played a couple of shows last month with the band. Both were great and we and our audiences enjoyed the music. One show was the 60th birthday party for my oldest musical friend in this neck of the woods. You can hear him on harmonica on several of my songs posted on here. Had to have a hernia repaired and that knocked me out for a week or so. You wouldn't think that three holes poked through your side good be such a pain but believe me, they were. But I got up and walked the night after the surgery and pushed on through. On the music front, the next release on TripleStrand Productions is going to be "Pardon My Heart" from my cd "The Drivin' Wheel". The tune was picked by the folks at TripleStrand, the next one will probably be "Tennessee Moon". I will post "Pardon My Heart" here in the next day or two. Just a couple of upcoming shows for the band. We will be on the main stage at the Shippensburg Cornfestival on the 27th of this month at 10:30am and the on October 1 we will be the Blue Side Tavern in Frederick Maryland, our first appearance there. I will be appearing solo on September 6th at the Cottage in Chambersburg. Hope the rest of your summer or winter, depending on which hemisphere you live in. Once again thanks for all your support. C
