About Carlos Massa

Carlos Massa is a musician, producer and a composer born in the portuguese Azores island São Miguel.

Living in Lisbon since 1997 , he gives his voice and his soul to Music.

His passion for the bass, the instrument that defines the harmony of music, may be a consequence of his own effusive personality in Composition.

Delicate melodies unite the classical to the contemporary, the erudite to the popular, without losing its Jazzistic, Funky, Pop, Afro, Folk, Scholar touch, where fusion is born from fusion itself and its translated into Stories told in Portuguese, without losing his touch of Azorianity, but whose branches embrace a much wider geography of sonorities.
