Carol, originally from Whitley Bay, lives in Cramlington, Northumberland.
From a young age she has always enjoyed music, singing in the school choir and the Salvation Army choir. She wrote down song lyrics in books she appeared at newcastle City Hall playing piano aged 9 returning later to support Lindisfarne .

Carol has backed and appeared in shows with many a star, including Dave Allen, Lynne Perry (Coronation Street), David Essex, Roger De Courcey, the Bachelors, Bobby Davro, Bobby Thompson, Chubby Brown, the Drifters, Jimmy James, and many others.
Whilst playing for ballroom dancing she decided to include singing in her act,
she met her husband Dave and together they formed the rock band Jynx, then the duo Double Trouble. Although working mainly on the cabaret scene, Carol's heart was in country. She then formed Carol Stevens and the Rebel Country Band, which pertormed mainly country rock, later disbanding. The trio carol Stevens and the (expired link). Carol started writing songs in the 1980s and had three songs accepted by BMI
