I like the sound it's original! I can feel the heart in this showing you put in some dedicated work. I like the melody and the smooth, beautiful and powerful voice, very laid back but it hits hard!!! I would love to have you on a hook!!! Sounds like the studio vibe was feeling the vibe I could sit back to this one and zone out!!!!! More artist should study the roots of their culture of art more to be better at their own art. Keep up the good work and stay in the lab creating new material to stay fresh and on your toes. Peace!

Cathy I love this track!!! I like when cultures mix, so I've particulary appreciated Franch language in Spanish music :) I'm really trying to find something to say about this, but you're absolutely a professional: your voice is amazing as always, great timber and good timing too, you're able to adapt it in every type of song. The music is very well recorded, and also the mix is good. I like the break and the guitar bridge too, it adds to the song. A really good job :)

Grand opening, enchanting vocal, and ever so rich voice, the percussion maintains a very catchy tempo, further enthralled by the saxophone and guitar fill in and wonderful finish, a beauty for lifting the mood and setting the feet on dance floor... Love it....

A little latin dance song in French.. Still great production and great vocals. This tune is a happy song that could bring a smile to most people. Would love to hear it in English as well. But it's great this way :)

Another engaging track from Cathy right from the onset! The Franco-Spanish harmonies and rhythms jump right out of the speakers from beat 1 and grab you by the hips and force them into an inescapable frenzy of Latin ballroom and flamenco motion! The drums, percussionists and guitar and trumpet leads are so joyful you can't help but dance to the syncopated beat! Cathy's vocals carry the day too and provide the French flare you come to expect of her! Very well done and will be added to my playlist! :-)

Hi I 've listened to this song few times and really like it. I like it when you sing in this style. Lots of energy and passion it suits your voice. Translated means the heart of a Gypsy and it has all the flavour.

Total latin flavour, reminds me of my younger years growing up in the Caribbean. The feel of the music is such a magnetic one that you want to bounce to the mode of the music. I would like ton hear more harmonies throughout as it takes the vibe of the music and project it. Lovely vocals infused with emotion along with the instruments.The composers did brilliantly with regards to the composition. Definately a hit in my books...

I learned some French and I thinking this about the heart of a a gipsy. Not sure and was not wanting to web search it. The song is still a great listen. I like the comfort and natural tone of Cathy Varna. She sounds like she love to make music and good music at that! Everything thus far has been a pleasurable listening of her music. Though the words are not all clear, that goes to show that music transcends all boundaries. Keep making good music Cathy. ~Fel D.

Review disclaimer: I don't speak spanish. But I know good music. First, the song starts out with a bang. If you're sitting, it gets your attention and your foot tapping. Second, the melody is beautiful and your execution is wonderful. Love the harmonies and who concept. The guitar work is absolutely amazing and the sound of the guitar is beautiful. The horns are a wonderful addition and stays in line with this style of music. Wonderful!!!

Another great piece of music full of high energy. Brilliant brass section and guitar performance complimenting Cathys opera type voice. I can Imagine this bring played all over the available media platforms available.. A great piece of work.

I don't think Ive reviewed anything b y Cathy before, but hey I couldn't help be really impressed but the quality and complete tightness off the production. There is an aura around Cathys vocal that appears to synchronise the brass and percussionists to galvanise such a beautifully cohesive performance. I would love to experience this in a live concert performance, you can't help to visualise and move about with the rhythm and the whole experience is amazing and electrifying. This particular song is a mix of various kind of music, from the dance to the ethnic sounds. The idea could be interesting, the voice seems different from the groove, but this confusion is modern.

Just another great release from Cathy Varna grabbed me right from the start! Her unique vocals brings a distinctive mood into the song. The intro is catchy but the whole arrangement is more various. All instruments really stand out, especially the accompain flamenco guitar and great played trumpet. Addional percussions are an extra factor and make the music complete. Brilliant accentuated guitar solo brings increasing surprise into this song. This is definitely a very professional recording, very good mixed and mastered. Overall a quintessence of spanish folkmusic in style of pop in perfect orchestration. Listen to the song and I´m sure you will also enjoy.

I love the intro! The music is energetic and makes you anticipate the vocal but unfortunately the actual vocal was a letdown. The melody just doesn't equal the excitement of the rest of the track. It's not that the vocal is bad. it's not. It's in the melody itself. A different approach is needed. I love Cathy's voice. She needs to be surrounded with a different sound. The guitar and horn work is OUTSTANDING. All the above being said, the music is so infectious, the whole production grows on you!

Especially in certain genres of music I am not all that familiar with concerning very important elements that make up and meet the required standards to justify the various levels of ratings and grades. So, in saying ALL that, I will limit myself to MY Opinion concerning the quality of the work according to My ears, and the standards I have been familiarized with thru-out the years. I hold to the old - saying " Beauty Is In The EAR of The Beholder ... LOL. The sound quality of the recording over-all is very crisp and bright and clear, I really enjoyed the energy and music in this song. Vocals are smooth and natural, sort of - down to earth as they say, and extremely easy to listen to and peaceful. The mix levels let me know who was still in charge of this song. Very easy to sit back and listen to. I mean no offense in any part, I myself take all feedback and use it as a tool toward my next project. I pray you feel the same way.
