About CENTER
CENTER was founded in 2001 by guitar player and singer Frank Boneberger. The first drummer Matthias Joachimsmeier was found by a newspaper announcement, the same way brought guitar player Axel Brodkorb into the band. His friend Markus Hoppe became the first and only bass guitarist, after the intended bassist Alexander Jablotschkin only played a single session and then left.

Hi there,
we were just asking ourselves if everyone has recognized that we had published the track "Water" here on N1M.
The original version (from the album "In Your World") was released in 2002, that is far long away. The special edit you can get on N1M is a rehearsal recording which we consider as the better one because it is more compact in its sound and a bit faster - more progressive!
By comparison you can hear the different styles of the first CENTER-drummer Matthias on the album version and Jonas, who joined the band in 2006. Matthias was more classic style, Jonas far younger (in his age and his style).
We have an archive of many live performances and the studio tracks from the two albums. We think, we should publish another song. Have you suggestions, which kind of song and from what source? More slow or more powerful? Studio or live recording?

During the years the drummer was changed two times, between 2006 and 2009 Jonas Streffer who settled in the (expired link). after and was followed by Nils Spiekermann.
CENTER started off playing only own composed songs, created 20 songs, played about 50 gigs.
