Aloha! We areand waiting for Mike's eye to finish healing. He had surgery for a detached retina on his other eye. Same as last year but a different eye. It's been painfull for him and keeping him down. And let me tell you, Mike is always going under normal circumstanses. He works and plays hard, reads a lot and spends time with kids, new Grandson and friends. He's a Lawyer, drummer, surfer, fisher, dad, husband, grandpa and friend. Back to musak. We recently recorded 5 songs which need to be finished and mastered. One of them is a re-recording of "The Storm". We have two more new ones to work on then record. All of these songs sound different from each other but still sound like Changos... Please be patient. Will have them all done soon enough. Our next two gigs are here in San Diego County. May 4th at the Pier View Pub with "The Pheasants" and my nephew's band "Into The Drink" here in Oceanside. We love this place because the sound there is awesome even though the venue is very small. Killer mix of bands and I can't wait. Then on May 18 we play the Shakedown Bar in San Diego with The F@gz. A punk rock show not to miss. Have a good weekend and stay in touch!
