Hey everybody! We apologize for not keeping you guys up to date the past few years I think it is, but the good news is that we are still alive! We've recently been on a hiatus due to work and school but since our original drummer came back into the band, it's been pretty easy for us to gain that chemistry back and start thinking about music again. We are in the process of writing songs at the moment and we will begin recording in the summertime. So hopefully if all goes well we will have an album out in the fall! Two songs might also appear sooner than that so keep your eyes out!

Channel 77 is a pop punk band from Kingston, Ontario that formed on January 1st, 2008. For the first year, they couldn't really decide what they wanted to sound like because the three musicians have different musical influences. Stuart has a lot of Alternative Rock influence, Johnny has a lot of Pop-Punk influence, and Eric has a lot of classical and progressive influence. It was hard getting shows for the first year because nobody knew what type of music they were, and were afraid no one would like it. Year 2, Johnny comes in with a song called "One Thing". The band played through it, and loved it. They decided to be a pop-punk alternative group. Channel 77 is keen to always put on a good show for everybody, and give everyone a great time.
