I BELIEVE!

Well I thought I was gonna like it, but I actually loved it!! Sounded like it was live! I love live music! The sax at the end was perfect! I would like to see these guys perform sometime. I recommend taking a sail down the river with your lover to this song.

Nice sound

Nice sound, perfect for a romantic dinner. Nothing that attracts attention, nothing that strikes or surprises. The song is always the same from beginning to end. The voice is deep and warm, but maybe it should be mixed better.

Block user CHARLEY AND THE CROPDUSTERS (RONNIE THAIN)

The song is swingy, with drive. High professional performance. Liked trumpet solo part. Also vocal sounds great. Pleasure to listen.Good music. Recommend it to listen and to follow the musicians.

Doors special

This is a nice jam my friend. You got soul! I felt super stoned with this song, lol, even though I had no reefer. This song made me feel good and the vocals really make this a great one. I look forward to hearing more! You will make a ton of sales off your beautiful music.

I love this Ronnie, its a triumph

From the first note and beat? I am hooked. Truly a lovely and heavenly sound, melodically y'all carry me off into smooth sounds and when the sax arrives? OMG i get further entranced with the soulful sound that is making this track so delightfully attractive. I have very very few hints and tips, more be they suggestions.. perhaps more harmony on the chorus, drop the lead vocal level just a touch or perhaps add a little reverb to take the peaking out of your wonderful deep rasping voice but not too much so we dont lose the essence of your gift. This track is almost certain to be in my record collection and one i will certainly be recommending with verve and gusto.. I am a fan Charley and the Cropdusters (Ronnie Thain) Congratulations of a triumphant song..

Great soulfully romantic

What a great hit. I can see this on all the radio stations here in my Detroit city. Romantic. Soulful. Truly enjoyable music with meaningful lyrics sung with feeling. The saxophone solo is amazing. Very good work to you all. The whole band works together. Like the music I grew up on. Old school with a fresh new song.

"I Believe In You"

A slow , mournful performance delivered by Charley and The Cropdusters coming straight from the heart. The mix on this track is extremely clear, an indication that this production is a labor of love, and not a "filler".

I Blieve In You

Great smooth into to the song. Vocals are well adjusted. Really slow, groovy song. Definitely see myself slow dancing to this song with the wife. That saxophone solo, I mean, who doesn’t love a great sax solo? Well produced song and well executed. I recommend a listen for sure.

i believe in you

Very chill slow beat song with nice instrumental sound. A little blurish on the vocal with a bit to much bass. Nice saxophone gives a nice edge. All and all this is a great song and my rating was 4.5. Dig in to this tune :)

Very well done.

I really enjoyed the instrumentals and how they worked the sax solo in, His voice blends perfectly with the combined sounds of each instrument. In my opinion this would make a very nice song for slow a dance. I believe it will also make a very nice song to be played for at a wedding. I can only suggest the band uses something more on the lines of a couple kissing or holding hands as the cover picture for this song. I wish them the best of luck and hope they sell plenty.

Good

Very nice beginning with romantic guitar notes and saxophone followed by lovely percussion. The words are beautiful, and the tune sounds good, tempo and the fill in music just feels right for the mood. Overall a good composition!!

I believe in you

Nice and smooth, good recording. I like that traditional Hammond B-3 sound. The lyrics also make sense; the variations like, "Do you believe in me?" or, "Can you believe in me?". Also there is some nice sax work going on...

CHARLEY AND THE CROPDUSTERS - I BELIEVE IN YOU (Review)

This is definitely for a SunDowner moment... A lovely work of art to accompany two people comfortably in love enjoying a special melody! It cuts through the hard dreggs of a day and smoothly soothes feathers ruffled by the winds of change, to remind us all that love is indeed eternally the most powerful force on the planet. No amount of other beats could take the place of this song. Very nice!

Quality “Feel” and Sound

I found this song, “I believe in you”, by Charley and the Cropduster’s, to have a quality “feel” and sound. I think it has a cool “old-fashioned” vibe. Its “slow-jam” melody sounds like a combination of blues and classic rock and roll - perhaps a hint jazz as well. It reminds me of a “John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band”, or more popularly known as “Eddie and the Cruisers”, type of song (especially when you hear the beautiful saxophone sing in - very nice, two thumbs up guys). This is a well organized/arranged tune. The recording itself sounds very good and of higher quality; It was mixed quite well. All in all, well done Charley. Keep on rockin’ Cropdusters!

A Review of 'I BELIEVE IN YOU'— CHARLEY AND THE CROPDUSTERS (RONNIE THAIN).

Great work! This is a very professional exertion. The saxophonist and the drummer do a great job. The drummer seems very relaxed and confidence and well synchronised with other parts. The saxophone parts sound superb except the ending section which sounds incomplete. The lead vocal however should reconsider the singing techniques and methods to better dovetail with other lines. The backing vocal needs even more technical and vocal upgrades. In general, well done!

THE NAME MAY SAY "HILLBILLY"..THE SOUNDS SAYS SOMETHING ELSE!!

As a guy who spent years in the Music Industry in my hometown...NASHVILLE...I know "Hillbilly" when I see/hear it..and THIS is not it! With a name like "Charlie and the Cropdusters" you expect some real "dog in a holler log" type music..."I Believe In You" is not that type music..It starts out very "Rainy Night In Georgia" and then that killer Sax blows in and brings the "hot night/ rainy streets/ mama kiss me" mood and the very "bluesy" feel sets in. Now I do not know if there is a "Charlie" and I seriously doubt that the "Cropdusters" have ever dusted crops...Their location says UK..but that could mean a lot of places...unlike many folks, I know that the UK means much more than London, etc. Their sound is listed as "other", "Adult Contemporary" and "Acoustic Rock". This could qualify as "Other" since the sound is not easily identified in today's music world...It is "Adult" since not many "young folks" would likely be "into it"...the "Contemporary" part is a loose bit anyway...my take on this would be "Bluesy" with a splash of "Other". The musicality is nice...that Sax blows some warm wind...of course I lean toward the Sax since I spent years playing one. But the there is....well in parenthesis it say (Ronnie Thain), I assume that is the lead singer...not "Charlie"...his voice is not smooth, polished, perfect..it is textured and seems to fit this music fine. It is unlikely to be everyone's cup of tea...but it works for me. So..keep dustin' those musical crops guys...and "Charlie" "Ronnie"..whoever...keep the porch light on cause mama will be home late tonight!!
