About Chase Leffers

I’m a lover of music and love to shape and craft bluesy instrumental rock. I released an album in 2014 mainly because I’ve been recording for so long and wanted to share these pieces. I don’t play out due to my family responsibilities but I thought at least giving others music that might please them or take them away from those things in life that bother them is worth it. Plus just to know it might make others happy gives me that much more reason to forge on and record even more.

I was born in the good ol' state of Illinois. I am a musician/singer/songwriter and been musically inclined since I was ten years of age starting with the clarinet. Learning to read music and playing by ear my talent developed and later branched into singing. As time passed along came drums, guitar, bass guitar, and the occasional toying with the keyboards. Beginning to record in 2001 I recorded a large number of songs including the few that are demonstrated on this site.

Self-produced, my album "Reflections" is an album that has a collection of songs which can take you from restful bluesy works to haunting numbers. Some of these pieces have been described as the 'theme music you hear when you are cruising on the open road with nothing but determination'. Yet another description is of 'dare you to look around the corner' music...the kind of suspense where if you do look you don't know what you'll find. Some have also been described as 'wonderful background songs because they don't disrupt the flow but keep things moving along'.
