Pleasant sounding song

Chaser - you got my feet a tappin' as soon as the music started, and the song has a great soft rock country feel and is very much gonna appeal to the dancing audiences you play to. Harmonies are excellent and the theme of the song is solid throughout. Normally I am against fade outs but this time it does work .... keep writing happy sounding bouncy tunes like this and at all times KEEP IT COUNTRY . Kind regards, Johnny and all at Angel International Management (UK).

You say this is your first attempt at song writing? Really? The harmony of the three of you is beautiful. Keep that in your songs. Harmony is MASTER. The one thing, in my opinion, that gives a song Validity is harmony. without harmony, all you have is noise. You might want to try a little less vibrato, just a little less. I think that would give more clarity to your lyrics. also the male voice was subdued a little. Bring that up just a little

That's a great writing job for a 14 year old. I love the tune and what I could hear of the Lyrics, it has a great hook and story line to it. I immediately caught on the fact the reverb overpowered the vocalists. They needed much more volume because they were good. Loudest part of the track seemed to be the drums. Not sure how it was recorded, but it'd be an awesome song to spend some money on and do it in a High quality Professional studio, where you could get the High Quality sound. I really believe you'd have a Hit song on your hands. I hope you have some more that good also.

LIVE RECORDINGS ARE NICE

MY FIRST THOUGHT IS TOO MUCH REVERB ON THE VOICE. I WANT TO HERE THE LYRICS BUT THEY GET LOST. IT IS A GOOD SOLID ORIGINAL SOUNDING SONG. SINGER CAN SING WELL. I WOULD HAVE SLOWED THE PACE OR TEMPO A BIT AND MADE THE VOICE THE OUT FRONT THING AND THE BASS MUCH MORE EVIDENT IN IN ALL AREAS. THE OVERALL BASS TO TREBLE BALANCE CAN GET ALLOT MORE WARMTH OUT OF A SONG. THIS SONG DESERVES TO BE DONE CAREFULLY IN A STUDIO SETTING. VERY GOOD EFFORT AT ANY RATE. CHEERS

I like the way Long Road starts. The female background singers are good. Chaser has excellent vocal qualities. The song is catchy, and should be well received by music people, internet radio etc. Best of Luck. Guy

Excellent Song, poor audio quality

Helpful

I rate this song as a 4. I am sure that I would rate it as a 5 if the audio quality were better. The lyrics are simple to sing along with. The instrumentals are great. I like the vocals. This is a true country song, unlike many of the country pop songs that are played on the radio today.

Not a bad song, has a good message, & the vocals are nice, but it needs a better recording of the song. It needs to be more polished, and something to bring it up a notch, but I'm forgetting it was written by a 14 yr. old, so good job for someone that age, but if you want a more professional recording, take my advice, for what it's worth.

This is a snappy upbeat tune and is one that probably could be a sing a long number. The vocals were good but a little too over effected for my taste. The vocal effects probably muddied up the lyrics some because I had to listen three times before I was able to glean that it was actually a religious song. It would have been helpful also to have had the lyrics to help evaluate the song separately from the track presentation. Or it could just be my ears are wearing out. The arrangement was lively and keep the energy all the way through but it was lacking a in variety. That really didn't hurt this number however, because it was short and probably doesn't require much deviation from the was it was done. The instruments were executed well and the percussion kept the punch in the overall delivery. I would have shortened the ending some because to me before the fade began the redundancy of the ending was getting a little awkward. That can easily be fixed by simply starting the fade sooner. Overall I liked the presentation and give it good marks. Most of what I pointed out are technical things that are easy to remedy and do not penalize the song or performance. Its a nice sing a long song and gets you in a good mood. Well done.

Really nice song, with good vocals / harmonies and lyrics. As someone has already pointed out, does sound a lot like Olivia Newton John with a kind of Abba feel to it with the rolling piano work. It sounds like a 'live take' but don't know if it was? If it wasn't, then there is a little more work to be done on the production side of things. The bass and drums could be more prominent for starters and a guitar solo wouldn't go a miss.
