Hi, I've been very busy writing new songs and recording them in my home studio. These songs are all instrumentals and I play all the music on each song...rhythm guitar, lead guitars, bass, keyboards, percussion and many other instrument sounds using a GR-55 for the guitar (like making the guitar sound like a Sax or a cello). Hello everyone!

I've been working on new music and new songs and plan to post a new song of my new sound in the very near future. I've started playing the keyboards and using some modern tech toys to create new musical sound-scapes. I also have been playing lead guitar to this new sound. For me this new sound is very exciting and I'm having tremendous fun with it. I recently performed at a local music festival and was very well received.

I wanted to give you an update about my latest songwriting adventure. I have for many years written all my songs starting with my 6-string acoustic/electric guitars. Also, I very much enjoy tuning to alternate tunings and then writing songs in the new tuning. That has been a very cool experience for me over the years and I'm sure I will continue doing that. However, this past July 2014 I bought an electronic keyboard. I've almost always had a small keyboard in my studio in case I wanted to use it on a recording, but mostly it sat dormant. This new keyboard is much nicer and it has inspired me to begin writing songs using it. To that end, it seems that just about every time I sit down to play it that I end up writing a song "idea". I now have written song idea #40 as of yesterday. Some of those ideas have become completed songs (17 so far). I will be taking them to the recording studio soon and developing them. Thank you for taking the time to give a listen to my songs! I very much appreciate it. I've just started using N1M to post my songs on and I am impressed with how many people they seem to be able to reach. My song "Your Spirit" is being received very well and I'm happy about that. I wrote it about my youngest sister, Patty, who passed away last year. I miss her. I almost always write my songs in a generic fashion so that what I'm saying lyrically can apply to anyone who can relate to what the message is. All of us at some point in time will have someone we really care about who will leave us thru dying. It's an extremely sad event when it happens to us...I think maybe it's the saddest pain we will ever feel. Thanks to all of you for your support!
