I wanted to give you an update about my latest songwriting adventure. I have for many years written all my songs starting with my 6-string acoustic/electric guitars. Also, I very much enjoy tuning to alternate tunings and then writing songs in the new tuning. That has been a very cool experience for me over the years and I'm sure I will continue doing that. However, this past July 2014 I bought an electronic keyboard. I've almost always had a small keyboard in my studio in case I wanted to use it on a recording, but mostly it sat dormant. This new keyboard is much nicer and it has inspired me to begin writing songs using it. To that end, it seems that just about every time I sit down to play it that I end up writing a song "idea". I now have written song idea #40 as of yesterday. Some of those ideas have become completed songs (17 so far). I will be taking them to the recording studio soon and developing them.
