About Chris Adams
Down some old back road, way off the beaten path, you may hear the strumming of a flat top guitar accompanied by the percussive stomp of a set of rawhide boots.
If you follow this sound to its origin, you'll find Chris Adams sitting out on the back porch hammering out the final version of some new song; writing, rewriting, turning each phrase until all those puzzle pieces come together to form the picture on the box top.
"There's just some magic that happens when after all the blood, sweat, and tears that go into the writing process, it finally clicks and you know you've said what you wanted to say and it makes sense, not only to you, but to someone else. That's the payoff."
In addition to writing and performing his own songs, he has produced a number of projects for various East Coast, regional, and even a couple of international artists. As for his own performances, he's opened up for national artists like Blake Shelton, Little Big Town, Pat Benatar, Shooter Jennings, Pierce Pettis, and American Idol winner, Taylor Hicks.
