Chris Jordan was born in Lebanon, Tennessee, and currently lives in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He has been a Musician since he was 7 years old. He has come from a long background of known Musicians Locally and globally in his family such as Jimmy Otey (Drummer), Michael Otey (Singer, Songwriter & Piano), Mary Jordan (Saxophone) who is also his mother, John Davis (Singer, Songwriter), John Holmes (Singer, Songwriter, Bass), and Academy Award Winning and Grammy Award winning Recording Artist, Herbie Hancock (Songwriter, Composer, Piano). Chris Jordan is an Arranger and Performer of the Pop and R&B Genre. He is now recording and touring with the Nashville based Gospel group, LAST CHANCE. He has performed with such bands as "The Bo Thorpe Jazz Orchestra", and "The New Imperials". He has recorded with several Recording Artist such as, George Tidwell of the Elvis Presley Band (Trumpet), Chester Thompson of the Phil Collins group Genesis and the Frank Zappa Band (Drummer). He was a member of the Grammy Award American All-Star Jazz Band, Nashville TN Chapter for 3 years (Leading Alto Sax). He has played for the Christian Dove Awards 2 times (Leading Tenor Sax)
