Sympatheia is the first single from Chris Koehn's new EP.
He started working out during the pandemic lockdown, to stay mentally healthy and focused. Sympatheia is about our connection with the universe, with each other and with the nature around us. While we were isolated from everyone, we were more connected than before. For his first release he invited Rodrigo Guardiola from Zoe on drums and Chetes for Guitar Solo (Bass Bartone). The song was recorded and produced at Chapel Studio, a project that Chris Koehn designed two years ago. With his producer Jerry Quintana, roles reversed. First Chris was the architect and Jerry the client, now Chris was the musician client and Jerry Q. worked as the producer.
Video clip directed by Vertov The Noise. Melodically it’s mix between Led Zeppelin´s Stairway & Pink Floyds drums.

“ Permanent Impermanence” released with Canadian/Mexican Indie label Arts & Crafts, mixed at Toy Factory with Grammy producer Phil Vinal.
Live shows in Babalú, Parker & Lenox and Imperial, where he meets Los Angeles record label CEO, specialized in cinema and starts working on “Music For Films” a EP cover project for films and TV.
2013.
“ Songs For Yoshimi ” a melancholic post punk EP released with Indie Label Noiselab Records.
2008.
Early recordings. The single dedicated to his brother’s death, is placed on a movie soundtrack. Afterwards he starts working on his first EP.
