Good morning Christa. This is definitely an appropriate song any time of year. :) You have a nice voice, and nice simple music structure to deliver your message. There are a few spots through-out the song where you might want to consider re-mixing your voice. It distorts in a few places because it is too loud. I wonder if you use a wind screen in front of your mike. That helps my tunes quite a bit. You might want to consider the rhythm structure of your words; some of your words seem to pile up on each other in a few places. "It's not even about," "Christmas is about," "Christmas ain't about," etc. The more consistent you can make the song, the more people like it. Other than that, you have written a nice song.
