Hear in the wind

I Never know what to expect on "N1M Charts" when I start to listen to new bands or new songs. But often, within a few of seconds I can have a good idea about the songs. "Leaf in the Wind" is a song that captures the attention of the listener for all the time you're listening to. The composition is brilliant with the vocal melody that fitting perfectly into the song. the execution is perfect. This is a song that fits perfectly for a radio and I would be not surprised if this song is playing already on several radios. I listened to "Leaf in the Wind" a few times and I enjoyed it each time, and each times I discovered something new. Do yourself a favor, listen to this "Leaf in the Wind". Frank Found.

Vanuatu, Unknow

The music and his voice sounds familiar.

The music and his voice sounds familiar. It seems that he has a few influence of some rock bands from the 80"s and 90"s. I hear guitars as i hear them by the BeeGees, slightly a bit of GLEN CAMPBELL, here and there some Eric Clapton and some more af other Artist. Honestly, i'am not really sure, that Christopher is not quite original, but that doesn't make him a bad musician, on the contrary, he is good. This song is not real;y an alternative sounded music. I hear more rock, country and jazz.

Genuine and classic

The song and the singer strike me as genuine in his performance. The song has not many hooks - but there's overall a sincere expression in the music and the singing. Wouldn't call it jazz however:))

Great song by C.C.Morris

Listening & reviewing C.C.Morris's song "Leaf in the Wind". Well, it doesn't sound like "Alternative" or real "Jazz" to my me..:-)..but rather like a song in the popular "Blue Eyed Soul" genre..and his voice brings other well-known USA artist/bands to my mind..like, Michael McDonald, Peter Cetera, Hall & Oates. It's a well written & arranged song..I like the "live" sound..with a well balanced production..so, well done Christopher & good luck! :-)

Great song

I love the 3 beat you got going on this song, Christopher...and the way it punches it down on the (1). Reminds me a lot of the song "Take it to the Limit" from the mid '70's. Everything on it 'clicks' greatly and I commend you and the players for a beautiful job. Good Luck in your music adventure, man. gizzmow, Bonham, Texas

Music sweet enough to color any leaf

I loved the energy and power in your voice, You clearly make this song come alive and do not overdo it You were able to lay in the pocket and milk out all this song has to offer. The texture in your voice adds a very nice fall spice to the experience.

Classical tune

Very cool tune with laid back rythym. Very jazzlike, but with a very nice voice melody rounding the all in all relaxing package. Very emotional song writing and performance. Instruments are all well played within a professional production. Should be on the radio for airplay, could be a chart breaker! Or being placed on several tonight shows could bring it to the right place!

Leaf n/t Wind

Excellently crafted song title from the intro to the end. The emotion put into the lyrics raises the bar as they are well presented and articulated. The balance between the music and the vocals are as professional as they come. It is a welcome encounter to review material that displays the effort, professionalism, and craftsmanship required to push this piece to the next level. Kudos to the songwriter and all who brought this project to fruition. Keep going!

Christopher Crosby Morris brings us Leaf in the Wind, a textural funk and blues offering with powerful soulful vocals in the vein of Michael McDonald and Michael Bolton. From a listener's standpoint this is old school lamenting blues with a slow funk backbeat. The musical qualities take me back to early days of The Eagles, Bob Seger and Jackson Browne. Leaf in the wind spends its entire journey floating magically away as it should. From a producer's standpoint I really admire the separation of instrumentation and its carefully crafted. Well done.
