James's diverse work history includes Hip - Hop radio advertising, music director for an online cartoon and curator for past NYC museum events and exhibitions. Pop/Soul group originated in Boston, circa 1992 and collaborative project from the (now defunct) DOWNTOWN RECORDERS studio, which was located in the BOSTON CENTER FOR THE ARTS BUILDING. Produced by DJ "CAPTAIN WENDELL" EDMONDS, engineer PETER CHEUNG and JAMES AVATAR (co-founder of the Boston band AVATAR BLUE. Artists include: Greek R&B / HIP HOP performer CICA (pronounced: SEE-SA), sessions drummer TATUMI, guitarist STEVE BARON, bassists, KONA KAZU & BASSIE and rappers GO-GO-G, KID BLAIR and MC S.A.M. .

A covert music enforcement organization called the AUDIO INTELLIGENCE AGENCY deploys highly trained operatives throughout the world.
The Audio Intelligence Agency has NOW AUTHORIZED a new positive music enforcement campaign for 2015 that reaches across 2 continents. Our music enforcement agency network as expanded exponentially over the past two years and now includes the addition of an outpost in Melbourne, Australia for the state-of-the-art SYNTH STATION ONE laboratory, outsourcing experiments in sonic texturing and astral-Classical fusion. SS1 will be head by Dr. Phillip Gelbach and be operational Fall 2015.

This ever-expanding Soul Music "Collective" has been active since 1998 started by singer/songwriter JAMES AVATAR and Australian composer PHILLIP GELBACH. This collaboration led to the recruitment of some of the best musicians and Hip Hop artists in New York and resulted in the formation of 13-piece Hip Hop orchestra with a full horn section and 3 rap artists. Shortly after 9/11, the crumbling NYC economy led to a huge diaspora which spawned new music acts including New Orleans' avant soul duo THE MUMBLES, New York experimental Jazz quartet PEARRING SOUND, Techno turntablist DJ THANOS and Jazz/EDM duo FILTER KINGZ.
