Hello from Tulsa, My name is Chuck Vaughn, born in Atlanta, Ga., and grew up south of (expired link) began singing in bands in the early 60's, most notably in The House of David.
We began as a 5 piece R&R band, and eventually morphed into a Revue, with a singing group, an Emcee, R&B singer, and me, Mr. Blue-eyed soul, doing R&B, R&R, Psychedelic, whatever we wanted to play.
We played Proms, Sock-hops, EM/Officers' clubs, and a lot of colleges in the (expired link)..
Skip ahead to the mid-70's, Somewhere along the line I learned to play Rhythm Guitar,and I began working mainly as a solo artist, performing S/S style music and my arrangements of 50's & 60's R&R also, my originals.
I did this until 1983, when I received Christ as my Lord and Saviour, and my life was changed forever!
Now, as far as the music goes, I write and record both originals and covers plus, I do sing outside of my studio, occasionally.
I am currently involved with producing and recording a "Valentines" project, which will include originals, and interpretations of music by Van Morrison, Buddy Holly, Jim Croce, and a few others, and I'm just having fun!
