Far away from the tropical paradise of the Jamaica, Chucky Serious has been producing a vibrant blend of Reggae, Rap, Dancehall and Afrobeat in his adopted country of Switzerland. Growing up amongst the sound systems and studios of Kingston, he learnt his craft at the knee of his father who was deeply embedded in the island nations recording industry.
Bringing an entrepreneurial spirit to everything he touches, Chucky Serious is also a promoter, a radio host on Coleur 3 Radio Station Suisse, CEO of brand optimization company Mel’Art Creation and also a promoter. He has appeared alongside some of the biggest names in the game including Sean Paul, Ziggy Marley, Damian Marley, Aidonia, Elephant Man, Mad Cobra, Bounty Killer and many more. With a pedigree like that, it is hardly a surprise that his music is a brilliantly crafted example of Jamaican culture.
His latest single Wet Wet is a testament to the history and the ambition that runs through his veins. Brilliantly addictive with a vocal hook that gets you up on your feet, he has learnt from his peers and used their influences to produce a sound that is uniquely his own. Rapping, singing, song writing and producing, he is a lion in the studio capable of scaling the heights of super stardom.
