About C Jae

Being raised in Washington, DC definitely broadened the substance of Charles Jones, Jr. better known as CJae. He spent his early years shuffling back and forth between the care of his grandfather (SC) and his mother (DC). To escape the ever-moving environment, CJae would indulge himself in writing music. Writing to him was a therapeutic release. With his uncle's help, he learned how to perfect his new found skill & talent. Aside from his gift, CJae had found other interests that would lead him astray from his natural born talent. In his adolescence, he faced run-ins with the law, and found himself in life -altering situations. In order to become grounded again, CJae knew he would have to confide in a higher power. Through prayer, faith, falling back from making music and staying out of the public eye, CJae focused on the birth of his son and daughter, which gave him a new insight on life and also his music career. No longer feeling he needed to prove himself to the public, CJae is now back to his first love.... and her name is Music!
