About Chris Jamez
At the milestone age of 32 Chris Jamez is positioning himself to be a respected Hip-Hop inFLuencer in the music culture. Chris began his love for the craft in his youth by rapping in his high school lunchrooms where he realized his talent was larger than a hobby.
Chris Jamez connected with Koulie, formerly known as YT, and began freestyling sharpening his skills around the neighborhood. They recorded their FIrst single, Soul Riser in 2012. Later in that year they would decide to become a group by the name, Rasta G, and build their FIrst full project. The group did not last long before
they both began to work on their solo projects. Chris created "Hits of an Outcast, recorded with Emerj Ent. and released the single On the Edge in 2013. Soon Chris would FInd himself falling on hard times and living out of his car while working at Kroger grocery store for two months. The struggle wasn't enough to silent his passion, but instead he used it as the fuel and inspiration.
As he reshaped his life Chris made the difFIcult decision to cut ties with Emerj Ent. due to irreconcilable differences, and built his own studio in his apartment where he could stay close to the music. He is now working on his upcoming album, "No Urban Legend", produced by Veteran Beatz. He will be releasing the FIrst single, "Street Soldiers" and waging war on the game until he conquers it.
