your delivery was good and the beat has a nice vibe to it... could have used a tight hook or chorus.. seems like some of your harmonized lyrics were off a little so try to keep it lyrical.. i see this as having potential but not quite there yet.. keep working on it

Nice track and flow the first thing I noticed the track was kind of muddy dry the track out by taking off some reverb on either the track or the vocal and your hear the whole song tighten up alot sometimes less is more like the throw back to boom bap with the jazzy two cord organ listened to it about four times in a row the groove gave me that Summertime by Will Smith feel.Good stuff keep grindin !!!

I personally enjoy the scattered style for this; your cores would appreciate this a lot better than most of the world would with the direction that music has gone these past five years. It's my type of piece because it's slick in an abstract form that touches on some areas of reality,as well as personal parts of your life. I think the biggest thing you can improve on is song structure. This sounds like one long verse which really has no direction. I asked myself what this song is about and I really don't know. The hook...really isn't a hook homie. You repeated the same four bars twice in the song. Maybe that's what you were going for, but if you want to really be taken seriously you have to write cohesive songs. Hooks sell. That's all people listen to now days in hip hop. It's a damn shame but you gotta have a memorable beat and a catchy hook. The bars were ok. I've heard this flow a hundred thousand times, and nothing was really memorable. Not trying to knock your hustle homie. Please don't take this that way. Just really focus on song structure and tying the verses together with a clean hook and a bridge somewhere for transition and to break up the repetitiveness.

hell yea that is where its at! Of course i know Canadians always produce heat. Love the old school style, true hip hop. That ambient effect in the beat really made the lyrics shine harder and mean more. Not many write or deliver like this anymore but I'm super glad people keep the spirit of true hip hop alive.
