About Collage

Jeremie was born in Canton,Ohio to Antionette Brown Austin. He has 2 siblings on his moms side, Brian Brown Austin and Mawanna Washington. When they were younger they were all placed in a foster home with their uncle. Here, Jeremie grew passionate about reading, writing, and music. He asked for a boom box every year and would tape the local radio stations to learn his favorite songs. His cousin/brother Marcus Austin prompted him to write his feelings down as raps. From about 4th grade on Jeremie was writing poems. At 17 he wrote a song expresing his desire to know all of his family and foster care experiences, from that song he flew to Hawaii to advocate for other foster (expired link) 24 and a solo artist he plans to bring Hip- Hop back to its more potent form of storytelling through more postive informative and encouraging lyrics.
