I Loved It!

Excellent mix of everything under the sun in this one. A 12 minute 'trip'....to say the least. The saxophone solo was superb along with everything 'including the kitchen sink' it seems. Lost count of how many instruments I heard in this piece. It all fit just nicely. If you have enough time to sit thru the whole thing, folks...please do. I turned up the volume and did some things around the kitchen while hearing it, and loved it. I just wish more people could sit down and appreciate your style of music in this fast paced world of today. Good Job, "Comin & Goin'.." Good Stuff!

Tranquil introduction to a well crafted song title. The mixture of elements and instruments is well presented and thought out. Would like to congratulate the author and the musicians who came together to bring your art form to fruition. One can only imagine the choreography and dedication it took to blend sounds, instruments, and voices into a collection of sounds that dictate a real sense of mood. The sound quality indicates the mix/mastering is good. Keep up the good work and I hope your genre of music finds you a profitable market. Thanks for allowing me the opportunity to review you work.

Uma música que serve como efeito sonoro, muito interessante, com vários ambientes. As várias partes da música podiam ser músicas separadas, pois cada uma tem seu próprio cerne, seu próprio conceito. Bem interessante.

I love your intro! For those who never stop to listen to the life around them, this may not be something they initially understand, but they need to take time out. The blend of natural, organic sounds along with man made instruments is AWESOME. I actually could listen to this all day long since I love the vibe. The surprise was when the horns came in. Lovely direction in orchestration and I DEFINITELY see this piece in a movie. You should try getting it to some directors if possible. My initial concern was that it may be too long for those who have not patience. My revised thought is that if they are impatient it is not for them. The vocal is different, interesting and not offensive. Great job! There is plenty for the ear to listen to and not get fatigue. When you do an album, I would love to hear it.

I just love the tranquility this music brings in this piece, very unison for one with nature and the surrounding beauty in just closing your eyes and listening. Tribal sounds that invigorate the purity of our souls invite one to dance , write and just absorb the flow, I really love the jazz mixture in it. Excellent music for film scores and orchestration concerto's etc... A Huge Thumbs Up

The transitions are seamless and well thought out. The unique combination of instrumentation bring a very unique flavor to the experience of the music. The music allows one to go way beyond themselves. Keep it Comin and Goin. jeff

Comin & Goin: what a surprise!

Helpful

Yes, I don't have a lot of time and this is the first time that I write a interview on N1M. But the tune of Comin & Goin have got a surprise and convinced me a lot. Why? For the sound of the world instrument, for the jazzy language so close to 70's progressive music ( I love it ) but so close to tribal rythm. The perfomance is perfect and lovely for all instrument: I recognize a sitar, a saz, a didjeridoo, a great sax and various percussion. In the middle of this track there is the real surprise...I leave you so you can imagine it.

Comin & Goin brings us Seven Steps Down To Earth, ",,,a seven-beat-cycle incl. Korean and Indian mouth-percussion; some additional sounds are taken from nature," This is an of itself is an exciting prospect. A complex and intricate rhythm and key signature brings out the best of the musical complexity with overtones of Korean and Indian music coming together in almost a jazzy broadway style of interpretation. The interwoven layers all come together in a cascade of sounds that are cleverly managed in the mixing and mastering. The bottom end is not quite as clear and defined in headphones as it is on speakers... a little multiband compression on the lower frequencies would help that tighten up. The composition itself is world class.
