Song Reviews
Coolness!
I really love the feel of this song, the vibe, the mood, the scatting in the background while the story is being told. Love the poetic words that build a reality based world that's all around us. The entire song made the listener want to understand and interpret the heartfelt message while having the music hold a solid rhythm and background to support this beautifully written piece of art. Hats off to Copper Rose & Bone Band for a fantastic job on Livin' fo the City!! Great job! ! Wanna hear more now!!!

Let me Tell you what a Musician means to me ... it's Copper Rose & Bone Band!
I rarely ever review the same band twice. However, when I saw Copper Rose & Bone Band ask me for another review, I had to give it a listen, and yet again I am absolutely blown away! Liv'in Fo the City is an absolute masterpiece! Lyrically fascinating and with a beat that you will NOT get out of your head for the remainder of the day! These guys are so AWESOME! Such a fresh sound that just makes their replay-ability top notched! Ya'll have got to let me know if you ever come to the Austin, TX area because I will absolutely be there! Their beats are so fresh and intricate that they will lure you into the most pleasant of trances, and when you snap out long enough to catch the meaning of their lyrics, you will me left in awe and I guarantee you will have a tough time avoiding that replay button! Pure and utter MAGIC :) Can't wait to hear the next track! Sincerely, Silent Violence :)

Weird music recorded in a tub
Cooper Rose and Bone Band's tune, Liv'in Fo The City, is a weird tune set to a funky groove. The song sounds like it was recorded in a bath tub. The scatting has way to much reverb. The lyrics sound like they were improvised at the recording. The female singer's tone is not bad. It sounds like she would have a lot more to offer but this song just doesn't cut it. In fact, I'm starting to dig the scatting more than her by the end of the tune. I can't offer a good review. Sounds like they had a groovy riff and they tried to improvise something but, in my humble opinion, it doesn't work. Can I tell you what a musician is to me? Too weird.

review of Liv'in
a groovy, modern and catchy song. Very up to date and funky sound with mixed vocals, electronic beat and accoustic guitar groove. Mixed well and produced in a professional looking package. Very American sound. I already posted this song onto my Facebook page today as I like it that much. Look forward to hearing more from them.

Great rythm and love the spoken word.
Nice rythm in this song. Takes me back to the 90's. The song has a great beat and I like the spoken word. That does give out the message. Also the male vocal on the background completes the song. This song is really making me relaxed. Good job on this song.

Raw & Honest
A story becoming soundtrack to that journey of a soul on the streets, trains, buses n' planes in search of Thee final destination! Full of a broken heart, looking in a broken mirror, over an empty broken bottle, to wake up n' say never again will I live this pain! A song perfect for the ending of a movie . . . A song ideal for a late evening meal . . . A song worth a place on a mix-tape . . . This is the sound of a dream after what has been seen in an nightmare, looking back & asking what could of been? Liv'in Fo The City
Strong female spoken word mixed with non lyrical more non-lexical male voice accompaniment that could be considered scat singing. Very jazzy song and feel with a strong rock rhythm drive. Enjoyed the contrast between the male and female parts against the music. Sounded very freestyle and natural, but out of the ordinary like a walk through a big park in a big city. Check out Liv'in Fo The City. Scott...WFJ

I enjoyed the message in your poem. The poets voice is very soothing. The poetry is at times overshadowed by the music. If there were a few breakdowns that may have helped pin point different sections of the music. Also, the background singing could have been less consistent to keep focus on the poetry. Otherwise, the words were the stars. I would also like to hear the poet be a bit more expressive and put the emphasis on certain areas of the poetry.

"Liv'in Fo The City" Review
The males voice at the beginning of the song and throughout the song sounds horrible. It sounds really out of key. I like the guitar. The song has a nice laid back feel to it. I just wish it had some singing in it. Instead of just talking over the music, it would be nice to have a nice voice singing a nice melody.
