I've listened to this track several times now to try and get my head around it....I keep thinking 'eighties'. The voice is very Grace Jones and the music is quite Bowie sounding. Lots of synths here with programmed beats and a very open sound with great vocals swirling around all over the place. I like it, it's not catchy and has an odd melody but it's different and that's hard to achieve at the minute. Good work, please do more....!

I always enjoy listening to these fine artists. Their musical creations are always spot on I totally dig their different style of writing as well. Subject matter is also well thought out and very thought provoking too. I always look forward to listening to copper rose and bone band all the time and I truly appreciate their musicianship and talent. Great job guys as always!! Keep it up!!!

Percussion and keys outline the rhythmic groove of this tune. Her voice is strong and confident. One of the obvious highlights of the song are this vocal strengths in her confidence. The male voice sings the hook about ancestors. After a few listens I understood that he calls out to his ancestors for guidance. To be more effective, the hook should be more melodic and catchy. But with the groove these artists put together one can get the intended message. To make this a more radio friendly cut, I would advise them to work with a good producer that understands what the artists and songwriters are trying to say and help get that message in the forefront. What I enjoyed most was the artists' efforts to make a song that hasn't been done before and isn't merely a copy of a unique record, they set out to MAKE a unique record. Looking forward to hearing more form these talented artists!

Very nice groove and arranged professionally. Songs of honor to and praise to the first people the Ancestors path. That is the Blueprint left to follow. I like the instrumentation and production. Vocal lay low in the Back and the harmony is balanced. I think the Engineer who controls every part of the Musically Production did a great job.
